Job Description: As a Manager in Content Moderation for our Client, you will oversee a team of moderators ensuring platform compliance, user safety, and adherence to content guidelines and policies. Your leadership will play a critical role in maintaining Client’s reputation as a safe and secure environment for creators and users. Key Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership and Management: - Supervise and mentor a team of content moderators to meet performance standards - Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement development plans - Facilitate team meetings to discuss updates, challenges, and best practices - Content Review: - Monitor flagged content to ensure compliance with Client’s community guidelines and policies - Identify and escalate critical content issues or trends to higher management promptly - Policy Implementation: - Ensure the team is updated on the latest content guidelines and moderation policies - Act as the point of contact for clarification and interpretation of policies - Operational Efficiency: - Monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed within set turnaround times - Use data-driven insights to optimize team productivity and decision-making processes - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and updates - Reporting and Insights: - Generate and analyze reports on team performance, content trends, and flagged issues - Provide actionable recommendations to improve moderation strategies and enhance platform safety Qualifications: Qualifications: - Experience: - Minimum 3-5 years in content moderation, with at least 2-3 years in a management role - Experience in moderating sensitive or explicit content is highly preferred - Skills: - Strong leadership and people management skills - Excellent decision-making abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy - Familiarity with online community management tools and moderation systems - Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel or dashboards - Knowledge of regional and global content compliance and regulations - Personal Attributes: - Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism - Empathy and cultural sensitivity, especially while handling diverse content - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges Work Environment: - Ability to handle exposure to sensitive or explicit content as part of the job. - A collaborative and supportive environment with opportunities for career growth.
